What is the Difference Between Internet Marketing and Blogging:
Jul 26th
Sometimes I need to refresh myself on the difference between blogging and internet marketing. When you write an article for a blog about internet marketing, is it still considered blogging?
I think most people consider blogging to be a form of expression that is directly related to their personal life. Wikipedia defines internet marketing or online marketing, for more details visit to www.sell-using-the-web.com as the marketing of products or services over the World Wide Web.
For the most part, the distinction between a blogger and an internet marketer is a bit fuzzy. The most obvious realization is that the average blogger probably doesn’t make that much money online whereas the business savvy internet marketing might make a fortune selling advertising and affiliate products.
Generally bloggers write about their experiences, their opinions, current events, and things that interest them. Internet marketers tend to focus on subjects like search engine optimization, affiliate reviews, and marketing techniques. They are focused on making money plain and simple.
The typical internet marketer spends half their time in the field writing and the other half researching, optimizing and obtaining inbound links. Bloggers generally spend half their time writing and the other half of their time trying to get their peers to read their blogs.
To make a long story short just because you have a blog doesn’t necessarily mean you are marketing it correctly. If you are serious about your blog either way you will most likely need to acquire internet traffic to leverage your blog. Regardless of whether or not you want to earn money online with your blog, learning the basic principals of internet marketing will most likely prove to be very useful in the acquisition of internet traffic.
There are many things that are important to being a successful Internet marketer. But three things in particular, in my honest opinion, are critical to success. In fact, you really could say that these three things pretty much cover the essence of Internet marketing. I’m talking about training, product and promotion. In this article, for more details visit to www.mrx-interview.com I’m going to explain why these three things are so important.
Let’s start with training. How many people in this world do you know who are successful at something who don’t know what they’re doing? I certainly wasn’t one of them. When I first started as an Internet marketer, over six years ago, I was so clueless that I made all of $28 in my first five months. Why? Simple…I didn’t have the training I needed. Once I started to get that training, I began to make a steady income online.
Now, you can pay for that training or you can go about getting it in bits and pieces by going the free route such as by digging through forums and the like. The downside to the free route is that it can be very time consuming. By paying for training, you can cut months off the learning curve. Of course the downside is that it’s not free. If you’re tight on funds, the free route may be your only option.
What about product? Well, you have to have something to sell to people. Nobody is going to send you money because of your good looks. Now, you can create your own product, which is going to give you the most control and the most income, or you can sell an existing product as an affiliate. The downside of the latter is that you are competing with many other people. However, there is almost no cost involved and the process is a lot quicker than having to create something from scratch. Either way, you have to have something to sell or you’re not going to have a successful business. And…it has to be something that people actually want. Not need, want. Big difference.
Finally, we have promotion. I’ve said this a thousand times and I’m sure I’ll say it a thousands times more. I don’t care how great a product or site you have. If nobody sees it, you’re not going to make any sales. You have to promote. Again, you can go the free route, of which there are some excellent options like article marketing, or you can pay for traffic, such as you would do by using pay per click advertising. But whatever you do, you have to promote. The traffic won’t just come to you.
If you concentrate on these three things, you’ll find that your marketing efforts are more focused and your results will be a whole lot better.

The Best Blogging Tools
Mar 12th
Because of the tremendous popularity blogging has now reached, bloggers can now, for business reasons, increase their presence on the internet, and be more quickly found by “spiders” so as to raise one’s rankings with Google.
To accomplish this, one first needs to have a specific blogging program, such as “Blogging To the Bank”, or Google’s own “Blogger.com”. Once you have created your domain name, and designed your site, (make sure it looks professional), you need to start writing blogs at least 3 times/week. The purpose is to inform your readers and provide them with information they can use to help them grow their business.
Occasionally, you can refer, through emails, to Affiliate products that you are selling on your blog. You can also sell your own products by having your blog reference free gifts and downloads, which can lead to your own Sales Page, and your own product. Be generous of your time and gifts. You can use PLR products to help benefit your followers. Ideally, your blog domain name should reference your website domain name, which in turn should relate specifically to your niche.
You may want to have a personal photo head shot so your readers know better who you are. You also can liven up your blog and your web site with videos.
Two tools that you should check out to assist your growth are Camtasia.com, and Traffic Geyser.com. They are both very important in growing your business.
Also, get software to help readers opt out if they no longer want your emails, and make sure you have a warning at the bottom of the site, that you will not share their information and will not spam.
To post entries on the blog, format may slightly differ. The basic concept is to type the title and the text you want to accompany it in the platform. Choose a tool with flexibility so as provide italics, various font sizes and styles, and you may need to use HTML in order to achieve the best result. Should you want to copy-paste Microsoft Word text, before choosing your software, check to see whether the blogging platform allows copy-paste without interference with RSS feeds.
To be able to upload videos and images on the blog, you or your webmaster may want to use Adobe Photoshop. You may have to resize the images in order to make them easy to download by readers.. You need tools that enable you to align the photos so that they can be placed in the best place within the overall format of the page. Embedded multimedia files are also widely used by bloggers, to enhance their site and provide more clarity to their viewers. An example would be embedding a You Tube video. All you have to do is include a JavaScript in the posts in order to allow the blog users to access the photo or video files you upload.
The RSS support can be very helpful in assuring greater success for the blog. This is particularly so because most online users are mainly concerned with accessing blog content via RSS feeds. There are a variety of RSS formats available. Moreover, most tools include some sort of RSS installation.. To be certain the blog looks professional to the targeted viewers, check the RSS formats that the special software offers before actually purchasing or installing it.
Hope the above info was helpful. Look soon for the next blog.
To your success.

The Sales Funnel
Mar 5th
In internet marketing, there are many strategies to build traffic. Getting people to your blog, giving them as many helpful hints and free gifts as possible, and truly trying to be a mentor and not a sales person are some of the important ways to relate to your potential client. As your list grows, it becomes important to maximize conversion of people opting in to something you are offering, and leading them further into your sales process so that they can build their business.
At the very beginning most mentors recommend that you get into affiliate marketing. In order to do that you should familiarize yourself with Clickbank., and the Clickbank Marketplace. There you should choose the niche that you want to start initially marketing into. Then you want to go into ClickBank products and see what products are available that fit the niche you have chosen. In choosing your first 2 or 3 affiliate products to market, you want to screen using “Gravity”. What is meant by Gravity is a number that tells you how popular and successful a particular product is amongst other marketers, and in sales. The number seems to be arbitary, but scores above 200 would be best. Read the product description and make sure that it makes sense to you. Read any testimonals you can find, and read any product reviews you can find.
Once you’ve chosen your produc,t apply for an affiliate URL so that you that you later can get financial credit (commission) when one of your customers buys that product. The vendor of the product will have banners and possibily other promotional material that you can directly import to your own sales page to help sell the affiliate product. You want your customers to get to the product by first passing through your own Sales Funnel so that they order through your link, thereby allowing you to get credit from the merchant. This also prevents you from losing your optin new client to the merchant which could happen if they were lead directly to the merchant’s page.
So when your potential customer opts in they are led to a Thank You page, which then leads them to a FREE GIFT page, and perhaps a bonus of an additional series of gifts. If you are ready, you can offer a product of your own, or reference to future bonuses and gifts. Very often a well developed sales funnel will also use more than one sales product. It can also use special OTOs (One Time Offers), or joint ventures as additional sales material.
At the end of the funnel, after the final download, the customer should be sent an email confirming their purchase with download instructions for what they bought, especially if they did not download after making payment through a link on either Paypal, ClickBank paydotcom.com, or any purchasing software or shopping cart. Usually the link says “Return to Merchant”, but sometimes people forget to do this. So the email sent through the Auto-Responder will allow them another way to download their purchase.
This sequence of events decribes the Sales Funnel.
