MasterMind Group for Internet Marketing Advancement
Jun 18th
First read about the concept of a Mastermind Group in Napolean Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”. A Mastermind group has a limited number of individuals, usually with the same purpose, although their backgrounds can be somewhat different. It is usually helpful that there are enough diverse backgrounds to add richness of experience. The group should meet at set times either in person, or if the group is geographically diverse, the meeting could be done on “Go To Meeting” as a webinar. The discussion should basically be brainstorming and sharing of ideas, but there should be a group leader who can communicate with the membership prior to the meeting, and perhaps set a specific topic in advance for each of the members to think about so that they are prepared for the live webinar meeting. The meeting should be recorded and some body should be in charge of that so that if somebody wants to replay to review valuable information, they can listen to it again. A good initial size for such a group is probably about 12.
The concept of the mastermind group is not limited to just this type of meetings. The idea is to help each other when and if individual projects come up that one or more of the members has expertise in, permitting the knowledgeable member to help a person looking for new knowledge. The idea here is this should be a very loyal, solid group with ongoing friendships all directed towards helping each other and should be able to continue for years. It is not an open forum used for bulls*ting, venting fustration or meandering thinking. In fact, I would suggest rules such as if a majority of the group finds anyone to be disruptive, then on vote of the majority that person could be asked to leave.
I hope the above description of a Mastermind Group is of help.
For further information I strongly recommend you read, Think and Grow Rich.

The Need for Automation in Internet Marketing
Jun 18th
To some of you my statements will appear somewhat new if you have just recently joined the field of Internet Marketing. For others that have already been in the field for some time, this article is just a review with perhaps a few references that you may not be familiar with. It is an absolute given that there is far too much involved in internet marketing for one person to do it all. That is why in my prior seven posts, I attempted to describe important habits and methodology to help you accomplish the tasks leading to completion of a goal. With internet marketing, the fastest way to get products developed and marketed is through using automated software. The ones that we use most effectively are combinations of certain wordpress plugins as well as other specific software programs. Examples of recommended wordpress plugins that have been effective are All-in-one-SEO, WP Exit and Unique Article Wizard. An example of an excellent product for bringing fresh content to your site as well as help with backlinks is SEO Link Vine.
Another extremely essential form of automation is the auto-responder. The two best ones that we recommend are GetResponse.com and Aweber.com. The Auto-responder is what allows you to collect names and email addresses from people that opt-in so that you build your list. In addition these programs have other useful components and can also identify conversions (people who actually bought your product). Another important part of the auto-responder is setting a sequence of email follow-ups that allows you to maintain general contact with your list on certain days and perhaps gives them free products. On other days, you use the auto-responder to help promote selling new products to your list.
In summary, certain things have to be learned about initially before you can move on to automation. Then once you have gotten a good feel for internet marketing vocabulary and the important areas of marketing, you can begin bringing in automation. When your business is moving along decently and you are finally earning several thousand dollars a month you can then consider outsourcing. There are several excellent programs available for outsourcing, but you still have to know enough about the programs for automation that you have bought to be able to train the individuals that you hire for outsourcing.

Getting a Mentor in Internet Marketing
Jun 18th
Internet Marketing is so complicated, that without being mentored or coached by somebody, it is very difficult to succeed. I don’t feel I really started moving fast until I got myself a part time webmaster and a coach (mentor).
Many people don’t realize the benefits of a mentor. If you are starting a business or trying to grow it from small to large, the fastest way to accomplish is to have several people that you consult with that are more experienced than you. Ideally, one of those people should be incentivized to mentor you, either with stock, or a small percentage of the business in exchange for helping guide you, based on his/hers more advanced knowledge and successful experience in the same business. The reason for this is that it is much slower when you have to learn every single step yourself. People that have been in the same business as you previously have gained a great deal of experience, perhaps made mistakes from which they have learned, and can help you avoid the costly errors that occur when you have to redo something, or have wasted months only to find that you are moving in the wrong direction.
In addition, if you are growing a company you will need leadership skills. A mentor, from their experience, should be in a better position to guide you in growing the team. Further, the mentor should help you prioritize so your effort and energy is spent on the most important aspect of growing your company. Together with the mentor you should determine which tasks can be delegated, and what skill sets are needed for the new employees you hire. Formal testing of any new employee should always be done. Have them write a short essay as to why they want the job, what skills they bring with them, what their educational background has been and anything else you feel will be of help when you are making a decision to hire them. Resumes and references should be reviewed with the mentor so that you make a joint decision on any new staff.
Cash expensed daily and weekly should be recorded by a good bookkeeper and reviewed with the mentor frequently. This way the mentor will see you are on the right track on the business or if you will run out of capital quickly.
As you can see, starting or expanding a business is no small undertaking and requires a lot of knowledge and judgment. Working with a good mentor is the fastest way.
